Went from Malibu California 4 years ago to sit’n on a hay wagon in East Tennessee. Some have called me crazy, some have said that this life I built here in East Tennessee isn’t me. Maybe those people/friends never really knew me. I’m a simple man, don’t need much, don’t need the fancy cars, just an old 1985 Dodge pick-up named Bertha, some rescue dogs, two cool cats, a few goats, a yard full of chickens, 3 mini horses to make my life here Tennessee complete. This is me, this is my life, paying it forward the best I can. Helping others often, rescuing some animals, selling some real estate, building a legacy non-profit, and trying my best to follow God’s Plan. The country life has always been me, I grew up riding on hay wagons as a young kid. What’s that saying… “you can take the boy from the country but not the country from the boy”. That is exactly how my life has been. I had taken a slight 28yr detour, but I’ve finally found my happy place, my purpose. They say, “if you want to get right with God, just take a walk in the woods”. I do that often, most of the time that walk includes my sidekick Suzy Q and 20 goats, but it’s still a time to reflect. I may have tired eyes in this photo, but my heart is full. I thank God everyday and feel blessed for the doors that have opened in my life.
