Meet J.J. Johnson the newest author in the Descendant Publishing lineup! J.J. will be publishing under our Paths to Portals imprint as a MG author! We are super excited about this new story for middle-grade readers!

J.J. Johnson is the multi-award-winning author of the Iggy & Oz series, beloved by kids, teachers, and especially reluctant readers. When he’s not wrangling stories, J.J. can be found brewing coffee with the precision of a NASA engineer, diving deep into Star Wars Expanded Universe lore, or playing (and usually losing) card games with his two sons. He lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with his wife, two boys, a loyal dog, a mischievous cat, and a rabbit who mostly ignores him.
