SOLO Defense ...Someone's Only Line of Defense. Are you prepared?

SOLO Defense Training Group was started by Aaron Brumley in hopes of teaching gun owners and shooters the proper mindset and fundamentlas necessary to properly deploy a firearm in the event that one day YOU may be someones only line of defense. Along with handgun and carbine training, we are able to bring you life saving skills through our medical instructor, and unarmed self defense training thanks to our martial arts instructors that colaborate with us.

Coffee talk: A good way to get better at picking up the dot with your red dot gun...is to safely dryfire with your red dot gun, working on a proper and consistent grip and presentation. No gimmicks. Just the fundamentals drilled properly, consistently. Drop your dryfire tip in the comments. It's Friday! Load up! ...except for maybe the Sig carriers. Y'all might want to sit out for a bit.

Coffee talk: Continuing the conversation about church carry. Here are a few considerations. 1. If you carry a bag gun but not a full IFAK, you're doing it wrong. 2. Your sanctuary will not be a static range. It will get chaotic fast. (This goes for most public events.)
3. If you're church has an armed security team, but no full trauma kits, and designated medical response individuals. (i.e. members who are doctors, nurses, EMT, police, or firefighters) You should fix that.
4. Your church should have a known response plan including a designated triage area.
We have to think more full picture. Concealed carry is great. But if we're already talking about carrying long guns, we should at least try to prepare for the whole picture. Something to think about.
