Classic Lemon Bars 🍋
A buttery shortbread crust with a tangy lemon curd filling — the essential lemon treat.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar to form a crust.
Press into a pan and bake 15 minutes.
Whisk eggs, granulated sugar, flour, lemon juice, and zest.
Pour over crust and bake 20 more minutes. Cool, dust with powdered sugar.
