Can you believe it’s already August? It feels like summer just started, and now we’re getting ready for back-to-school schedules, winding down our summer adventures, and—if we’re lucky—looking forward to some cooler Oklahoma weather! Before we know it, the holidays will be here, making now the perfect time to start those Christmas quilts and handmade gifts. A few stitches now can save a lot of late-night sewing later!

The wait is almost over! Be sure to bring your Botanical Challenge project to this month’s guild meeting.
We are so excited to see how everyone interpreted the theme. One of the best parts of these challenges is discovering how the same idea can inspire so many unique creations. Whether your project is bold and colorful or soft and subtle, we know it will be something special.

Borders Without the Waves!

Don’t forget to bring your Sunday Surprise Ice Cream Blocks to the meeting!
Every block you turn in earns you a chance to win the entire collection of blocks created by participating members. It’s always exciting to see the different fabric choices and creative personalities shine through each block—and who knows? You just might go home with a wonderful assortment to turn into your next quilt!

🎒 Saturday Sews: Jumbo Project Bag
When: Saturday, September 5th
The Mission: We are kicking our Saturday Sews back up by making the Project Bag in the Jumbo size!

The Mission: We will be sewing the Travel Duffle 2.0 for October's "Sleep in Your Own Bed" Retreat!
