BENEFIT: From our Freeport correspondent Deb Milligan, a benefit will be this weekend for Ron Roseberry:

"Ron of Twin Hills Park near Freeport has been in three hospitals through a lot with COVID and needs a lung transplant. On April 2, the community will have a spaghetti and meat dinner cooked by the Mt. Carmel church for a donation at the Freeport fire station from noon until 5 p.m. They will be having auctions and a 50-50 drawing that day. Anyone wishing to donate for the auctions or money can leave it at Rockside Carryout between Freeport and Tippecanoe."

ATTENTION: The Freeport water department wants to inform the village residents and those under Freeport water that a 24-hour water conservation order is in effect. There was a water break at the Steele Crest Apartments, so water department workers are asking Freeportians to conserve their water while work is done to fix the break. They thank you for your patience.

We can confirm that Harrison County is not located in Lafferty, and we pledge to improve our cartography skills. Thank you, and have a good weekend!
