WGRA sustained some damage due to the heavy thunderstorm that came through the area earlier tonight which has prevented us from broadcasting tonights Cairo vs TCCHS football game.

This was completely out of our control, and we apologize to everyone who had planned to listen to the game on the radio or streamed on the internet. We are going to make repairs this week and will be back on the air next Friday night against Thomasville.

WGRA experienced a severe lightning strike to our facility earlier this week and as a result, we are having to replace our automation computer. Unfortunately, the repair has been delayed because of the Independence Week holidays. We will be back on the air very soon and are very sorry for the inconvenience.
