Days like today makes you question why you would want to live the life of a farmer, you wonder the purpose you have and the ability and strength to carry on for the next fight….. farming with animals or farming in general is hard, it’s costly and exhausting. You learn from every mistake and every triumph, you oray that hour failures are not costly and that you can recover from them. You pray you always do what is right and humane for the animals. But the love of what you do and the love of the animals carry you through.
