The passage is both sad and encouraging, not only was Jesus preparing His Disciples for his departure but he was also leaving them a blueprint on how he excepted them to go on to spread the gospel and how to properly shepherd His flock of believers. Anxiety and fear are real. The Disciples, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, every single person in the Bible has felt and lived along side it. Be strong and courageous through your anxieties. Jesus has won!
