Yesterday, April 15th marked my 17th year owning HomeFront Studios LLC. It’s hard to believe how much has happened since I opened these studio doors in 2008, a month into the housing/market crash. Gail and I went from living in the back of the studio to buying a home where we are now raising 3 amazing kids. HomeFront survived the Great Recession, the pandemic, and now I’m hoping to be able to keep it going amidst inflation and every damn utility bill and crappy service provider increasing charges. I’ve only made it this far because of the support of my family and the amazing community of musicians and friends who continue to support this place. Despite every musician thinking they’re a professional audio engineer because they have a laptop and logic, there’s still a place and need for recording studios like HomeFront. So many talented musicians and amazing humans have come through these doors over the years, it’s hard for me to comprehend sometimes. The sounds we get here are unique and special, it’s a comfortable environment to create in and you get my goofy ass as your engineer! THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT & HERE’S TO MANY MORE YEARS!
