Our customers had a big weekend at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble progress show!

It was an awesome day for our “Sugar” donor owned with Gateway Genetics. Sugar is more officially known as OCR Ms Xplorer E164. She is the mother of the promotion sire Big Game Hunter. These flushmate sisters had a big day winning their classes and more!

Another day and another Charolais heifer! With the excitement of last night with the Lazy H Ranch Colorado sale and reality of the future that HANS has in the charolais we couldn’t help but clip our only HANS heifer calf up and get some footage.

She is a tough one to picture and video because she is so gentle and curious so take it for what it is and come on by with a trailer and check because she’s gonna make someone real happy!

The simbrah female got so much traction, interest, and hype that it kinda got me into sale season quick! The next female clipped and ready to go is a green and elegant built one. This female reminds me a lot of a foreigner we sold last year that went on to be the reserve supreme female at the Utah Ag Expo for the Farnsworth family.

It’s finally October and we are getting started on clipping and picturing the private treaty heifers at the headquarters in Caldwell, Tx.

Happy Monday! I had the best feed help in the world this morning before Stella’s dentist appointment. Not sure who is growing faster, this set of calves or our baby girl?! We will be clipping private treaty sale calves over the next couple weeks. Come by at your convenience and find your next champion!

Reminder we will not be having an online sale this fall. Cattle are available on a first come first serve basis and sold privately off the ranch this year. Thank you and God bless.

First one of the fall clipped and ready to find her new home! A cold blooded maternal bred composite charolais heifer sent to us by our friends the Peavler’s! This sweet creature is first year showman gentle. Sired by WJM Mustang Man (Saint Christopher x double vision x mustang sally) purebred charolais bull out of a stout Marvel daughter (SWC LJR Marvelous Lady purebred angus). Show heifer or cross bred cow she’s a safe bet for a good time!
