It’s hot! 🔥How are you keeping your chickens cool on these hot days? I will normally provide the flock with a large block of ice with vegetables frozen inside. Today some chopped cucumber and watermelon sprinkled in a pan of cool water.

Both of these eggs came from the same breed. Towards the end of the laying season the eggs a lot of times will lighten in color. This is a more extreme example of this. I love my dark eggs but I think these are just as beautiful!
