Nevada artists: Your next exhibition opportunity is here. 🎨

Apply for Spotlight NV, presented by the Nevada Arts Council, and showcase your work at the 2026 RTIA Show, Sept. 17–20.

Through this sponsored exhibition, 20 Nevada artists will receive fully funded exhibition spaces to share their work, connect with collectors and buyers, and be part of one of Nevada’s premier art events.

Spotlight NV is designed to expand opportunities for artists across the state, with selections representing both the Reno-Tahoe region and communities throughout Nevada. Artists may apply for one exhibition space option based on the size and scope of their work.

Please note: Previous Spotlight NV recipients and current RTIA exhibitors are not eligible for this year’s program. Selected artists must be available to participate during all open hours of the RTIA Show.

The Olson Senior Center wants to remind folks to stop and visit them at the Grover C. Dils Health Fair on August 15th.

The Fair will be held at the Caliente Grade School Gym. The Olson Senior Center is working diligently on their Renovation campaign. Their goal is $50,000 to renovate and repair the 1986 Senior Center.

This includes a new ceiling, lights, new floor, interior and exterior paint, new tables, chairs, various art supplies, amenities and the roof to be re-sealed. The roof seal alone is $25,000. All of the Centers activities BINGO, Yard sale, Teas and more are to raise the funds to renovate and repair.

The Olson Senior Center is a Non Profit organization. Every thing they do is to enrich the lives of our seniors and support our community.

The Board members are looking forward to offering more classes and activities and making the space more enjoyable for its seniors, the community and folks who may wish to rent the space for their event or organization.

These plans are being done so this beloved Senior Center may last for the next generation.
