We’re headed west to the next 3 in Bellevue, WA, Denver, CO & Pleasanton, CA! Tim Flagler will be a Featured Tier, doing presentations and has some room left in his class on “Knots & Rigging for Trout” - here's a testimonial from an experienced angler who attended, it’s not to be missed! Sign up for Bellevue (https://www.showclix.com/tickets/classesBellevue2025), Denver (https://www.showclix.com/tickets/classesDenver2025) & Pleasanton (https://www.showclix.com/tickets/ClassesPleasanton2025)

Whether you are experienced or new to the sport of flyfishing, I would highly recommend attending Tim Flagler's interactive Knot and Rigging class at The Fly Fishing Shows around the country. Like most fly fisherman, I have become accustomed to using those same traditional knots recommended by fishing books and other publications. Having attended Tim's course at the Marlborough MA Fly Fishing Show, my eyes were opened to a different approach to knot tying and rigging. Tim showed us all new, easier, stronger and more durable knots and rigging that will make our lives easier on the river, lake or stream, and will save you time and avoid frustration. You tie along with Tim, with an excellent knot tying practice kit provided that you take with you, and get to tap into Tim's extensive knowledge of fly fishing. Tim covered a variety of areas including the use of tippet rings, single line riggings, leader and tippet tying and connections, and what knots to use on specific flies in specific conditions and, like his videos, he is very genuine and entertaining. It was truly an informative and enjoyable course.

We got another great review of Tim's Knots & Rigging class at The Fly Fishing Show, so I thought I'd share it - he'll be holding the class at Atlanta this weekend, then Bellevue, WA, Denver, CO, Pleasanton, CA & Lancaster: https://flyfishingshow.com

Tim Flagler's Knot and Rigging class is a game changer! After more than 20 years of fishing, I had settled into using the same knots without much thought. Tim reminded me of the variety and purpose of different knots. His selection of knots is versatile and applicable to real-world fishing situations, such as weather conditions, quick rigging for fleeting hatches, or simply covering water rapidly. His renowned teaching style, along with his exceptional videography skills, made every detail crystal clear. Days later, I still remember each knot perfectly, thanks to his methodical and memorable approach. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, this class will enhance your skills. Highly recommended!

Tim Flagler's class registration (Knots & Rigging for Trout) is now open for the The Fly Fishing Show in Bellevue WA - Register here: https://www.showclix.com/tickets/classesBellevue2025

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This class will cover many of the knots needed as well as different rigs used for dry fly, dry dropper fishing, indicator nymphing, Euro-nymphing, and streamer fishing. Tim will cover why and when each knot/rig is most appropriate and how it can improve fly action, presentation and ultimately landing fish. He’ll have a large video monitor so he can also clearly share what the rigs look like and how they act underwater. This will be a hands-on class teaching how to incorporate a variety of knots into different rigs for different trout fishing situations, and tips to tie them better and quicker. These knots will include the clinch knot, improved clinch, perfection loop, Davy & Double Davy, blood knot, Uni knot, surgeon’s knot and the non-slip loop knot. In addition, there will be giveaways to aid in knot tying and practice. This class is a must to help you rig quicker and more effectively!

Good friend Tim Flagler from Tightline Productions had many questions for me in our original Why Fish Lakes Q&A on November 21st. We weren't able to get to all of Tim's questions for me on how I like to fly fish lakes so we have scheduled another live event tomorrow January 7th, at 7:00 PM MST.

If you have any questions you would like answered. Please don't hesitate to place them in the comments section below. Tim and I will do our best to get to them during our talk.
