Trump Extortion, we have been screaming at Cable TV commentators for the last 4-5 months that the efforts to control law firms, colleges, and any other demands for reparation by the Trump administration that extortion is the main tool to promote these actions. Finally, last night, on July 25, 2025, on the PBS News Hour, David Brooks, a columnist for The New York Times, finally called a spade a spade. This reinforces our strongly held belief that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting should be at least partially funded by the United States government to maintain an alternative, non-partisan, objective, and constructive media format that Americans can rely on for their daily news.
