POV:You get to go to and record content for

If you haven’t been to Madison, you simply must add it to the list. I plan to go back in a few weeks and get more content downtown. It’s so lovely!

I can definitely picture having a few glasses of wine and walking around town taking in the sights.

More to come!

If you’ve been, let me know your fave place to go. I can check it out next time.

Great wine isn't enough anymore.

This was my biggest takeaway from the that I attended last month with

It's not about the wine in the glass. Brittany Gibson who has served as Executive Director of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail since 2018, spoke about this at length, and I heard it echoed by other speakers, as well.

It's about the experience around the wine and how you make your guests feel from the moment they walk through your door.

We have to create experiences people want to keep coming back for. There is something really powerful about creating a space where people can slow down, be in community, and actually talk to each other (especially over a great glass of wine 😉).

Low to non-alcoholic wines are also proving to be a huge opportunity. People still want to belong and be a part of what's happening at the winery; they just may not want the alcohol.

Whether that means having one glass and switching to something non-alcoholic, or skipping it altogether, some of the wineries that added these options are seeing them become some of their best sellers.

A few things came up that I see across small businesses all the time, not just in the wine industry.

1. Storytelling is IMPORTANT! It helps guests feel something, remember you, and want to come back.

2. So many businesses are doing amazing things. But their marketing hasn't caught up yet, and they have a huge opportunity to change that.

One speaker asked the room how many had set aside a marketing budget or had someone handling it for them. Three hands went up.

Most businesses start because they want to bring something to the world or solve a problem, and then the marketing falls by the wayside or becomes an afterthought.

You don’t want to be the best-kept secret.

Overall, I had a fantastic time. Being in a room full of people who are passionate about what they're doing, whether you're sitting with winemakers who have been in business for 50+ years or those who are just building their tasting room, is really special.

I'm so glad to help represent Pilgrimage Wine Company and Indiana wine!
Hope to go back next year!

Just something to think about. 😘

You walk into an antique shop and feel like a kid on Christmas morning. There’s a vintage Coca-Cola sign, a record player looking for a new home, and a Depression-era glass collection that you’ve never seen before.

You don’t know exactly what you’re looking for, but when you see it, you’ll know!

Now imagine an entire town that gives you that feeling.

Antique and Vintage Lovers UNITE because we just found your next day trip!

Mark your calendars for the Cambridge City Antique and Vintage Market on May 9th from 9 am to 4 pm.

Vendors, booths, one-of-a-kind finds, and a whole lot of charm are waiting for you!

Cambridge City has been drawing people in since 1836. The historic National Road, America’s first cross-country highway, is literally Main Street here.

Back in the day, the Whitewater Canal flowed right through town all the way to Cincinnati.

Wagons, canals, travelers passing through, this small town has seen it all.

Today, historic Cambridge City serves as the hub of Antique Alley, one of the Midwest’s most diverse antique shopping destinations, and is home to 13 antique shops and malls all within walking distance.

Now it’s your turn to explore it. Stroll the streets, pop into the shops, grab an iced coffee, and start your treasure hunting!

Tag your person who can never leave an antique shop empty-handed and start making plans!

Let’s check out the new Buc-ee's in Huber Heights, OH!

BUC-EES is one of my favorite gas stations and I always stop at the one in Alabama on the way to Florida.

The grand opening for this one was April 6th and we went on April 10th. Clearly, it was still a huge crowd draw. 😍

I hear there will be one opening in Indiana soon! 🎉
