We had three prayer requests this morning:
1, help us get closer to the need so that we could directly provide resources to families most impacted
2, provide the financial needs for a second night in the hotel room
3, find a place that would be completely blessed with all of the clothing and take it all!
And as we start to wrap up our time here in Menasha, this day, all three of our prayers were answered!
We woke up this morning invited to partner with a local church at a pop-up resource.
I received a text message from an amazing family who continues to bless Love First offering to pay for the hotel and not only that, but called the hotel and handled the reservation directly.
And lastly, after dropping off a private delivery of diapers and baby wipes to a family of 10, we stumbled on the boys and girls club wondering if they have a need for clothing.
Much to our surprise, they were absolutely astonished, grateful, and wanted to take it all!
They help set up tables, sort clothes, unload the vehicles, and were so excited for what we had! This was a true blessing.
And these types of situations and scenarios, you never want to add more, you want to be helpful, respectful, and needed. Sometimes more noise can add difficulty to the devastation.
We were truly grateful that God allowed our time here to be extremely fruitful, not just for our faith and confirmation for our work to continue, but also for all the families that we were able to meet who blessed us with their time, heart, and openness during an extremely difficult time.
Today we give God every ounce of the glory ā we are exhausted and will head back to Madison in the morning.
Thank you for praying with and for us. š«¶š»
