This film was originally conceived as science fiction but in these davs is quite hyper-realistic. A tale of life under an authoritarian plutocracy where lockstep obedience is expected, protests against the government are acts of treason and humanitarian values are considered weaknesses.
Against this backdrop Raymond Vachs (Dominique Pinon), a once idealistic photographer and cartoonist, during a night of soul searching reflects on the meaning of his life and tries to come to terms with the marriage of his young daughter to one of the power elite.
