Harvard College Film Festival Offering a place for undergraduate student filmmakers from around the world to showcase their work. Submitted films must have a running time under 15 minutes.

The Harvard College Film Festival is the first ever film festival run by Harvard students. The film festival provides students across the globe with an opportunity to create and submit films to be screened, judged by a well-acclaimed panel, and awarded for creative excellence and powerful perspective. The festival will feature multi-day screenings, lectures by judges, networking events, and an awa

rds ceremony. Beyond the goal of sharing students' works, The Harvard College Film Festival seeks to strengthen the global student film community and to provide a dialogue amongst a network of creative and innovative artists through emphasizing the importance and power of storytelling. A message concerning COVID-19 from The Harvard College Film Festival

As you may know, Harvard College has closed its doors for the semester in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a recognized student organization, we have been mandated by the college to postpone all activities this semester, which includes our beloved film festival.

However, not all is lost. Instead of cancelling the 7th Annual Harvard College Film Festival, we will simply be postponing it to the fall semester. The new dates are as follow:

Regular Submissions Deadline: October 16
Notification Date: October 30
Festival Dates: November 6 & 7

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this change may cause. As you can imagine, this was all very much out of our control. If you wish to withdraw your submission and request a refund, please email us with your inquiry at [email protected].

If you submitted to The Harvard College Film Festival, thank you. We sincerely appreciate your contribution, and hope that you continue to see the world in new, interesting ways.
