The production team for the upcoming film The 7th came together at the Indian Gaming Association's Mid-Year Conference & Expo at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel last week. Our CEO & Founder, Rob Pero, is one of the Co-Executive Producers for the film, among a team of many other incredible and influential people within the entertainment and media industries, including Jhane Myers, Sean Sherman, Stacey Thunder, Anne Marie Gillen, and more.

The 7th Movie is a film set in the future, focused on a young Lakota girl tasked with having to save the earth's environment from total collapse. This female Indigenous-driven story is steeped in heart and spirituality. Perodigm Media is proud to have Rob as part of the team for an important film which touches upon many important topics.

There are many exciting aspects of 2025 Indigenous Biz Con. During the opening reception on October 13, the Hoan Bridge will be lit in honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day. IBC will hold a celebration ceremony at 8 PM, with details still to come.

In honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will have the Hoan Bridge lit up with the colors of the medicine wheel, an annual tradition for several years. To commemorate this moment, 2025 Indigenous Biz Con will hold a ceremony at 8 PM on October 13 as part of the event. Each year for IBC, we make sure to line up our dates to coincide with this day to continue this experience. We hope you will join us at the Welcome Reception before and after to continue our celebration.
