Relentless intensity over ever inch of the Augusta Civic Center court for 32 minutes Saturday night, Feb. 17 produced positive results for Camden Hills — namely, a 56-46 Class A North quarterfinal playoff victory and continuation of the Windjammers’ strong campaign — in the next round of the coveted regional tournament.

Camden Hills and Skowhegan capped the regular season with a competitive, hard-nosed high school girls basketball court battle and, as fate and the Maine Principals’ Association Heal Point Standings would have it, the Windjammers and River Hawks faced off again 11 days later, this time in a more important clash with higher stakes.

Camden Hills defeats Skowhegan for third time in 2023-24, this time in a winner-advances Class A North quarterfinal playoff game at Augusta Civic Center.
