You'll all have seen by now that under the Trump administration major cuts have been made to arts funding, and they plan to eliminate the NEA and Public Broadcasting. IDEA has already lost two government grants because of thesee cuts.

Please consider a donation to help us continue giving free arts programming to the people of Southern New Jersey.

At the same time, we thank our funders - the William Penn Foundation, Subaru, Independence Public Media, Princeton Are Community Foundations - for continuing their financial support.

The IDEA Center for the Arts, formally known as the IDEA Performing Arts Center continues to serve as a subsidiary and home base for all activities created by IDEA and will serve as a cultural gathering place at 217 Market Street in downtown Camden New Jersey to celebrate the arts in all of its forms. We hope that our NEW HOME which we now call IDEA CENTER for the ARTS will serve as an exhibition, arts education and performance space where talented and diverse artists can inspire, strengthen, support, unite and enlighten the community through their performances and exhibitions and serve as a home for many emerging, established as well as struggling artist in Camden and throughout the region. No matter what we will always be IDEA!!!
