Someone recently asked me about domestic components and suppliers, because I use donestic and foreign components in my builds. I thought I would share this here as it may be of some use or interest to other builders.

Suppliers I use include CE Distribution, Tube Depot, Mouser, Obscura Manufacturing, Eminemce speakers, Scumback speakers, Jupiter Condenser, Etched Metal, Soursound transformers, Armadillo amp works.

Domestic components I get from CE Distribution are Switchcraft jacks, terminal strip, some tools, and hardware.

From Tube Depot I get aerospace grade wire, mill spec resistors, G10 boards, tubes, nos caps.

Mouser I use for flea clips, and other assorted parts depending on custom work.

Obscura manufacturing drills, powder coats, and UV prints my Somnium Ge enclosures, and I plan to use them for some future products as well.

Eminence and Scumback I get speakers from of course.

From Jupiter I get speakers, almost all of the capacitors I use, and wire for speakers in combo amps, and silver wire.

Etched metal makes the metal logo plates that I put on amps and pedals.

Soursounds makes awesome transformers and I like they’re production transformers and I’m having custom transformers designed.

Will at Armadillo Ampworks does my tweed cabinets.

I’m sure I’m forgetting some.

Since I build small batch or one at time and do custom work I do use some NOS components as well.

Another great Edge of Breakup video that happens to have the Ge Boost in it!
