‼️‼️The Milam Appraisal District will be closed tomorrow. Thursday, August 21st out of abundance of caution for our employees and the public due to the presence of paint and cabinet stain fumes. Our plan as of now is to reopen on Friday, August 22nd for regular business hours. Our Facebook will be updated with any changes. Due to mechanical issues at the plant customers along FM 487 East of Davilla, along FM1915 north of Davilla, FM 437 north of Davilla to CR 406 and all county roads in between will be experiencing lower water pressure than normal.

Problem is expected to be fixed by 8-21-25

* At 359 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rosebud, or 8 miles north of Cameron, moving southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...65 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near... Buckholts around 420 PM CDT. Rogers around 430 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Barclay, Ben Arnold, Cyclone, Heidenheimer, Wilson, Yarrelton, Pettibone, Sparks, Davilla, and Silver City.
