Kick off the summer season with a NEW Pop Up trip on the iconic Santa Cruz Beach Train! The train departs from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, runs through an 1875 tunnel, across a 1909 steel truss bridge, down the scenic San Lorenzo River Gorge, and travels through Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park before arriving in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our day will begin at the Boardwalk Station of the Santa Cruz Beach Train. You can park at London Nelson Community Center for free and walk to the Boardwalk or pay for parking there. The train will leave at noon and will arrive at Roaring Camp at 1:00 pm. We will have an hour to enjoy the redwoods and eat lunch before the train departs to return to the Beach Boardwalk at 3:00 pm. There, you are free to enjoy the rest of the day at the Boardwalk or the Santa Cruz Wharf.πŸš‚πŸŽ’
