The Santa Clara County Fair is August 1-4 at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. This year they are creating murals of all the cities of Santa Clara County.

Her graphic design career drew her to Los Angeles, then Germany and then England before coming back to the Golden State and putting roots down in Santa Clara County 22 years ago. New Campbell Business... "8x8 grabs big new HQ space in Campbell, where it's slated to become the city's largest employer."

Cloud communications company 8x8 Inc. has signed a lease for a new 178,000-square-foot corporate headquarters space in Campbell, it said Monday, a move that Campbell's mayor said will make the business the city's largest employer when it moves in.

We'd like to wish a happy retirement to these two crazy kids. Ed and Chrystie DeSoto just sold The Olive Bar to a nice family that will keep it an Olive Oil store. They'll be handing over the keys to the place on July 1st, making it almost an even 13 years that they've been Olive Oil retailers.

They'll be introducing the new owners to all of their old friends at an event on Sunday, June 23rd from 4pm to 6pm.

In honor of their retirement, we're digging up some photos of the Olive Bar from their first days in business back in 2007. Later in the week to make this even more interesting, we're going to post some photos of what Downtown Campbell was like in 2007 when they opened and you'll understand what a remarkable ride the past 13 years have been.

Thursday at 10am...

Don’t be alarmed if you see this United States Air Force helicopter soaring over the skies of Campbell tomorrow.

A Black Hawk helicopter will be making a landing in Campbell this Thursday at 10:00am.

This helicopter is flown by the Air National Guard’s 129th Rescue Wing. The National Guard reached out to several schools in the Bay Area as part of the California International Guard anti-drug campaign. Campbell Christian School was chosen as one of the schools to receive this presentation.

If you have a moment to spare, be sure to step outside for this exciting opportunity to spot the Black Hawk helicopter.
