~ Tuesday greetings from the back porch!
~ The gardens are being tidied up; the tools are being sharpened/shined & the potting shed is becoming more cramped by the day. These are ALL tell-tale signs that it’s autumn. BUT, hold on… the dahlias are JUST gearing up it seems after a silent summer, one that I’ve never experienced in all my flower farming days… the dahlias have decided to put on a last hurrah!
~ THIS piece went out for a birthday celebration last week… it was well appreciated by the recipient!

~ Someday… Sunday will be spent serving my grandchildren the labor of love from a small, cozy kitchen. Until then… I’ll continue to practice, as my precious Momma often quoted, ‘practice makes perfect’ & I do believe it’s true!

~ I woke this morning with the intention to share all the glorious things that October has to offer- BUT, my heart turned to the overweight burden of the news.
