🇺🇸Volunteers Needed: American Flag Honor Guard – 2026 Parade Grand Marshals🇺🇸

“As part of the 50th Annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration and in recognition of America 250, we are seeking veterans, active-duty military members, National Guard members, and reservists to serve in a special American Flag Honor Guard during the parade.

⭐ Honor Guard members will collectively serve as the 2026 Fourth of July Parade Grand Marshals, leading the veterans’ tribute portion of the parade while carrying a large ceremonial American flag.

We also want all veterans to be recognized. Our Veterans Float/Trailer will follow immediately behind the Honor Guard so veterans who are unable to walk can still participate and be honored.

🚩 If your organization can loan a large ceremonial American flag, or if you'd like to volunteer for the Honor Guard, contact”

🇺🇸 SENATOR MAX WISE: CELEBRATING 250 YEARS OF AMERICA 🇺🇸

“Spirit will be on full display here in Campbellsville, where our community will celebrate both America’s 250th anniversary and the 50th annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration. As families gather for longtime traditions, from the parade to the fireworks that light up the summer sky, we are reminded that the values that have sustained our nation for generations are strengthened in communities like ours. These celebrations connect us to our history, bring us together as neighbors and renew our appreciation for the freedoms we too often take for granted.”

❤️🖤💚 Juneteenth 💚🖤❤️

Observed each year on June 19, Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

Today, Juneteenth is recognized as a celebration of freedom, resilience, culture, and the ongoing journey toward equality.

Take a moment to learn about the history behind the day, attend a local event, or simply reflect on the importance of freedom and opportunity for all.
