Summer weddings are taking shape and I can't want to see what our planner friends have been working so hard on these past months! 'Til then, a favorite from last June with a speech that had everyone in tears.

Heirloom fire rose with the sun to begin stoking fires at Gathre Green. The kitchen, built from the ground up was the heart of this celebration.

Guests passed by on their way to the ceremony as meat roasted and veggies crackled. Anticipation could not be higher after small, mouthwatering bites were released throughout cocktail hour.

As the sun set, dinner was served. People returned for seconds, and thirds. Wine flowed, laughter rumbled, and the fires crackled on. Still not sure if it was all a dream.

Artful, sculptural florals rising from the ground. Hand-drawn fashion sketches created by the bride for every guest. A custom, make-your-own perfume bar. Thoughtful details at every turn.

This celebration was filled with intentional surprises — each one a reflection of the couple and a joy to capture.

When the bride shared her wish to include interviews with friends and family, we suggested weaving them in alongside group portraits. The result became something truly special: candid, meaningful voices that carried the emotional thread of their film from beginning to end.

Where creativity and connection come together, something lasting is created. It’s always an honor to collaborate with planners and creatives who believe the most beautiful celebrations are rooted in intention.

When Beth first went to the lake house for dinner, she told everyone she was going to get married there (she and Rory had just moved in together at the time). Years later, they didn't hesitate to reserve for an incredible celebration! Happy Anniversary Beth & Rory 🥂
