When someone struggles with self-created problems, I used to think I needed to solve their dilemma or at the very least advise them about what they should do. Today I’m better at letting them assume responsibility for their choices and the consequences that come from them. My supportive, “You’ll know what to do,” affirms their worth as they take ownership of their lives.
