Humanity loves the us vs. them mentality, it really is the bane of who we are. If it isn't a political division, it's something else. Like male vs. female, or something else.

We talk about the "us" side like we are right while the "them" side is always wrong no matter what they are saying. If someone from the "them" side dares to be critical of the "us" side then a pile on occurs.

We are better than that.

And yes, I know I am guilty of it too.

I am sitting in the basement and working on something special for my niece, while I am working I was playing some of my friend music because it always hits me in the feels. After his album played through my Apple Music started playing I hadn't heard in over a decade, "Enclosed By You" by Josh White and Josh Garrels.

It wrecked me.

My prayer for Papa to remind me of who I am, has borne fruit this morning. Talk about having church today.

Last night, I climbed into bed and this surfaced, almost like Holy Spirit wanted to "remind me" just how close I am to Him. If you saw my earlier post it was all about asking Papa to remind me, and He did. 😊

It occurred to me yesterday, in an emotional conversation with a friend I have had for nearly 3 decades, just how much I have changed in the last 4 years, and not in a good way. My prayer with him before we got off the phone was "Father remind me about who I am in You, remind me that I am seated with You in heavenly places, remind me even if I make my bed in hell, that You've never turned away from me."

2017-2020 were some of the best years of my life, even though I was facing my mother's death, and all that went with it. I was so filled with joy in the little things, but somehow I allowed that to change these last few years.
