One of Lumen Audio's clients from Las Vegas just posted a killer video that features many of the songs that I recorded his drums for.

The client provided a click track, plus a basic scratch track (a stereo mix) that had vocal and rhythm guitar tracks. Then I laid down three passes of drums, each with a slightly different energy level/interpretation. (For example, take one would have an open hihat in the beat, while take 2 had constant crash cymbals) Each pass was recorded with the same microphones, so he could mix and match between the different grooves and fills in each.
