I do believe your home is a living, breathing, emotional thing. I believe that it should constantly evolve as the family that lives there evolves. . My home has changed many times, depending on the stage of life I was in. It looked very different when my kids were small, compared to what it looks like now.

However, One thing has always remained the same, my love for antiques, old things, and sentimental objects. I love the mix of old and new, to keep it fresh. But, ultimately I think character comes from vintage items, books, artwork, the things you buy on your travels that you place around your home.

I have always loved decorating, and pouring life into my home. I love changing things up constantly and refreshing spaces. I cook and bake for those I love. Keeping my home is definitely my love language.. tell me yours🩷🩷

Flower Lovin’ Friends!

A spring time refresh is just what my dining room needed. I added some pretty hot pink, geraniums and refreshed my Buffet with a brass lamp, silver, and crystal. I had all of these items, except the geraniums.. 🌸🌸 I moved a brass lamp from another room, and added a silver tray that I had on my entry table.

I love to rearrange my decor, which gives it new life and makes my rooms feel fresh. And it keeps me from constantly wanting to buy new things:). I just shop my house lol.

Home lately is looking a bit more like Spring… This time of year, I like to lighten things up a bit by adding in more greenery, florals, and white pieces. I generally love dark and moody, but I feel like warmer temps warrant the addition of cooler colors.

I say all this, then come to realize that we are expecting a high of 58 degrees tomorrow…. So, I haven’t decided , but I may bring back the darker, moodier colors! 😂😂 Tell me what’s the weather like where you are? Ohio’s weather can be a little erratic this time of year.
