WOODSTOCK, GA (April 22, 2025) – Woodstock’s Farm Fresh Market returns for its 17th season on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Vendors at the market offer locally grown produce, jams & jellies, honey, locally raised meats, seafood from the Georgia coast, fresh baked bread and pastries, bath and beauty products, and much more.
This year’s market will take place on Market Street and Reformation’s Backyard from 8:30am-12pm every Saturday, April 26 through December 27, 2025. After expanding the market into Reformation Brewery’s backyard last year, the brewery has further worked with organizers to offer additional spaces along Elm Street. This will enable the market to offer even more vendor opportunities this year, with 60 spaces in total.

ACWORTH, GA (April 9, 2025) – Chattahoochee Technical College is set to launch its Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) program after receiving the prestigious Air Agency Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration.

This certification authorizes Chattahoochee Tech to operate an approved Aviation Maintenance Technician School (AMTS), ensuring that the college meets all FAA requirements. The new program is designed to equip students with the technical skills needed to diagnose and repair aircraft power plants, both reciprocating and turbine, as well as airframes, both metal and wood. Graduates will be eligible to participate in the FAA powerplant and airframe examinations in order to earn their A&P certifications.

The exhibit will run through August 30, 2025, and is generously sponsored by the Georgia Power Foundation.

Curated by History Cherokee’s Black History Committee, “Sacred Spaces” explores the profound impact of Black churches in Cherokee County and the multifaceted role these institutions have played in shaping the community. The Black History Committee, a dedicated group of volunteers, plays a crucial role in expanding historical narratives and ensuring diverse and representative local storytelling.

JASPER, GA (MARCH 8, 2025) – One of Atlanta’s premiere jazz ensembles will be presented on Monday May 19, 2025 as part of the Casual Classics 2024-2025 Concert Series. The Joe Alterman Jazz Trio consists of pianist Joe Alterman, bassist Kevin Smith, and drummer and percussionist Justin Chesarek. The program is at 7 pm at Fellowship Presbyterian Church, 389 Bent Tree Drive, Jasper GA.
There will be an opportunity to mingle over coffee, tea and hot chocolate, provided by Red Bean Coffee before the concert from 6:15 pm, and during intermission.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED), in partnership with the Cherokee County GA School District’s (CCSD) Audio/Video Technology and Film (AVTF) educators announced the winners of the seventh annual Cherokee Student Film Festival as part of a live screening and awards presentation on March 25.

23 student-made films were screened at Woodstock Arts for more than 200 attendees.
