Michael Madsen (1957-2025)

Michael Madsen known for his roles in "Reservoir Dogs", "Kill Bill", "Thelma & Louise", "Donnie Brasco" and many other films, has passed away. He was 67.

💔 Hearts Out premiered yesterday and we couldn’t be prouder of how it screened!

Created for the 2024 Austin 48 Hour Film Project, this mystery short was written, shot, and edited in just two days, and seeing it on the big screen was a surreal moment for all of us.

When a beloved bar owner is found dead with a cryptic hand of playing cards, a no-nonsense detective locks the doors and peels back layers of betrayal, jealousy, and forgotten loyalties. until a shocking final reveal turns the table.

Proud to present our latest short film created for the Austin 48 Hour Film Project. This was a wild 48 hour ride written, shot, and edited with love, hustle, and plenty of coffee. Premiering Sat, June 21, 2025 1pm at Carter Auditorium (JBWS 186) ST Edwards’s University, Austin, TX.
