I remember sitting in my school classroom when the teacher got the phone call to turn on the television. Back then our TV was on wheels and we hid it in the closet of the classroom. She pulled it out and that's when we saw the devastation.
Children started being called to the office for dismissal until there was just a few of us left. The class next door joined ours and the teachers tried to explain what was happening in between tears. It wasn't till I got home that I learned of some of the friends and family that were there.

This day will forever live in our hearts. We are one America and sometimes I do think we needed to be reminded of that. Let this day serve as that reminder.

My heart goes out to those families who lost a loved one. ❤❤❤❤❤
