The City of Jackson always has a solid fireworks display. Come sweat it out with me, and my trusty sidekick Evan Schuessler. It's an honor to be part of this celebration for the 4th year on July 4th, with the Jackson Municipal Band and special guest: Brandon Bates.

Almost time for Independence Day fun! Join us in the City Park all day tomorrow to celebrate our nation's birthday. Here’s the schedule of events:

7:04 am – Independence Day 5K Run presented by Mercy Fitness Center | at HealthPoint Jackson

8 am - Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show begins presented by SEMO Rad Rides | on Sycamore Lane

8:30 am – Mud Volleyball begins |at Pavilion 1 on Parkview St.

9 am – Food Stands and Beer Garden open | along Parkview Street

7 pm – Brandon Bates performs | at Nick Leist Memorial Band Shell

8 pm – Jackson Municipal Band Concert | at Nick Leist Memorial Band Shell

9:30 pm – Fireworks Display presented by the City of Jackson | at Rotary Lake in City Park

6/20/25 It was a very hot and very fulfilling day working with the Ivas John Band again. Band members have came and went through the years, and all of them were great. The current line up is my overall favorite.

We got some timely help refilling the radiator on the way there, due to a failed cap. We fired up 15 minutes later than scheduled, but it could have been way worse. The cap has been replaced and all is well. Thank you, Carroll Walker. I owe you 10, cuz.

Keep an eye on the Brews Brothers' "Friday Night Block Party" schedule in the coming weeks. They always have solid bands lined up.

Katherine and Chad are captivating performers with a long list of high-profile collaborations.

Emily Wallace gave the new JBL Line array and Crown I-TECH amplifiers a proper burn-in last Thursday, at The Jackson Municipal Band (Shell)

We had confirmation of a couple residents listening from next door to People’s Bank on Rt 61. 😂
It was a pleasure working with her again this year.

Keep a look out for Emily, as she continues to collaborate with amazing artists from St. Louis including The Funky Butt Brass Band. What a powerful voice! 😎

I'm looking forward to mixin' a little country with these maestro's this weekend. This band has talent falling out of their pockets. They've all got many studio hours and some big stage appearances behind their performance. Come down to Century Casino in Cape to support their live music series. 😎

Last Saturday, I did a some assistant tech work with Richter Sound & Light & Red Claw Promotions at their CGMO Rock Show. I love what these guys do for the music scene in this area.
