Best Meal I've Never Had:
Port Cape's Honey Mustard Pork Tenderloin Salad.
It's one of the most Iconic and Long-standing BBQ empires nationwide.
Port Cape Girardeau.
My family has dined there, literally for my entire 45-year-old life.
I am often amused by the people I observe who do not even open up the menu, but instead just order their favorite go-to.
And hey - that's a solid strategy!
I used to be one of those people - BBQ chicken platter, baked potato, asparagus.
(Every sauce a unique recipe and an in-house secret!)
That was until I moved back home to Cape G and saw all of these fabulous looking menu items rolling out of the Port Cape kitchen.
Thus, the inspiration for 'Best Meal I've Never Had' was born.
What's on Port Cape's HUGE menu that I've never tasted - let alone knew existed??
My new obsession: Honey Mustard Pork Tenderloin Salad - WOW!
Let's be real - I'm more of a chicken girl, but this was one of the most tender, savory, fall-apart-in-your-mouth meals I've ever had.
Besides enjoying one of the best cuts of pork tenderloin this chicken (and fish) loving girl ever had - the incredible flavor of the pork tenderloin paired alongside roasted red peppers avocado and blue cheese is off the charts!
I've had steak at 5 star restaurants around the world (and dropped a pretty penny for them) that did not compare.
How much so you pay for a decadent meal like this? Less than $20.
