Lots of love being Shared this morning in Avalon when Internet phenom Stephen Sharer stopped by the Helen Diller Vacation Home for Blind and Visually Impaired children and got to meet just a few of the lucky recipients from proceeds of a benefit concert that Stephen Sharer hosted on Saturday in Surfside Park. The event drew more than 6,000 attendees. Some fans traveling from as far away as Mississippi and Texas. But imagine the thrill of a 14-year-old Diller camper today from Pennsylvania who got the opportunity to sing for her idol and then bask in his ovation following the impromptu performance. Talk about once in a lifetime experience. Thanks Stephen Sharer. The world loves you but we're proud to call you one of our own.
