Starting this week!

Summer is just around the corner, and that means it’s almost time to grab your popcorn and snuggle up on the sand for Cape May’s Free Movies on the Beach. The City of Cape May is thrilled to announce this year’s lineup:

JULY 10: A Complete Unknown
JULY 17: Spaceballs
JULY 24: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
JULY 31: IF
AUGUST 7: Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
AUGUST 14: JAWS
AUGUST 21: Moana 2
AUGUST 28: Little Giants

The featured movie will begin at dusk next to Cape May Convention Hall at Gurney Street Beach. In the event of inclement weather, the cancellation will be announced on Cape May City’s page. All are welcome and encouraged to bring your favorite beach chairs and blankets! 🎬🎥

West Cape May Farmers Market is on rain or shine (extra shine today!)

Despite what Google may claim, the West Cape May Farm Market is held Rain or Shine every summer Tuesday to the end of August!

In the unfortunate event, the Borough’s Emergency Management determines any inclement weather is cause for safety concerns, we will post accordingly to the Borough’s website, www.westcapemay.us, and our social media pages to advise the public.

Unfortunately, the information Google provides to those who search for our market is not information they obtain from the Borough and therefore is not always accurate. And although each year several attempts are made to update the incorrect information, we have had little to no success with getting Google to cooperate.

Therefore, to be sure you are receiving accurate and up to date information always reference the Borough’s website and make sure you are following the Borough’s social media accounts, where we post up to date information regarding the Borough’s events and what’s going on around the town!
