WCFA-LP 101.5 FM - What's Goin' On is a weekly radio show which airs on Thursdays from 6 to 7 pm. Bernadette Matthews hosts the show.

Hey Everybody,
I'm real excited about the show tonight. Guests for tonight's first half are Kate Leo Cooper, Event Host (Co-hosted by Debra Suplee Donahue) for Jesse Creek Winery and Sharon Kane, owner of Spreading the Love, an organization that provides care packages and back packs for those in need. We'll be talking about the upcoming event at Jesse Creek on October 17th with musical guests: Rose Kelly, Jimm Ross, and C Lynne Smith. Between conversations, I'll be player their music.

During the second hour, I'll be talking about the many events going on in and around Cape May. The musical treats will come from Gordon Vincent, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Dan Barry Music, C Lynn Smith, Grover Washington, Stanley Clark, George Mesterhzy and more...

Gordon Vincent and Jon Thompson, Don Slough, Mike Michael E. Dempsey, Andy Reeves, Andy Vernon, Barry Tischler, Danny Tangalin... I'll talk about the Open Mics as well as there are a few of them.

I'm back on the scene with WCFA's Public Information Show, What's Goin' On. Tonigh's show will feature the latest in happenings in and around Cape May with the theatre, restaurants and the music scene. I'll be playing an eclectic mix of music from Steely Dan to Gil Scott-Heon to Nina Simone, Jill Scott to Gordon Vincent and more.

Tonight's show will be all about Singer Songewriter Singer-Songwriter Cape May. We'll be talking about the musicians who are performing at this grand event as well as listening to local musicians as they play some teasers J.M. Kearns, Jimm Ross and Dan Barry. I was also hoping to have Brian Lee, Mary Roth and MQ Murphy. However, we be playing some of theie tunes as we go along toning. Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 at all the various venues around town is SS Cape May. The venues are free to enter. What's Goin' On broadcasts from the WCFA Studio at 717 Franklin Street, Cape May, NJ Co-Hosted by Susan Krysiac, we'll be talking about what's happing in and around Cape May. This coming Sunday is the Sunday Hymn Sing at Congress Hall @ 5 pm, The Squares are at Willow Creek Winery on Friday evening, Open Mic at The Mad Batter Restaurant and Bar At The Carroll Villa Hotel hosted by MQ Murphy just to name a few of the events we'll be talking about. You'll have TUNE IN to hear about the rest of the events.
There will be a lot of talking about Valentine's Day events playing a mix of love music by Ray Charles, The Whispers, The Flamingos, EWF, Sergio Mendes and more.

I'll also be talking about the WCFA Soup-er Bowl scheduled to kick off Friday, January 30 at 6 pm.

Radio show What's Goin' On will have guests tonight: form Cape Regional Medical Center, Patti Birchall, BSN, CDE who will talk about Diabetes and how to manage it here in Cape May County.

And, Barry and Sue Tischler will be talking about Barry's Ole Christmas Opry scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 23 at the West Cape May Borough Hall.

WCFA's public information show, What's Goin' On starts tonight at 6 pm and runs until 8:00pm. Tonight, I'll talk about the play that's opening tonight at Cape May Stage, 'Mistakes Were Made'. I'll share an interview with Mary Ann Caruso who is making her Debut at Cape May Stage and is thrilled to work with Director Roy Steinberg and the rest of the CMS Gang.
Between conversations, I'll be playing music from the Exit0 Jazz Festival featuring some of the arts such as The Cookers, Monty Alexander, Edgardo Cintron, Frank Bey and Renee Marie. The musicians, the venues and the lineups will be discussed. I'll also play some other artist tonight: Charles Fambrough, Carl Grubbs and Grover Washington, Jr.

What's Goin' On returns tonight at 6 pm on WCFA 101.5FM. I'm happy to back on the air after a rather lengthy leave. I'll be doing an hour show to basically talk about what you can expect to hear from Charlie, my Co-host and I in the weeks to come.
