Vintage postcards of Cape May to start your day

Stop by our booth at Oktoberfest on Saturday to pick up free prints! We have a few hundred & will give them out while supplies last. The booth will probably be on Carpenter's Lane near our office; we'll update our story when we know the exact spot.

1: Ocean Street north from the beach. That's the Colonial on the right, today known as the Inn of Cape May. The building across from it was later moved to Beach Avenue and is now called the Morning Star Villa.

2: Beach Avenue with a glimpse of the Christian Admiral & the original promenade arches

3: Congress Place

4: Beach Avenue. On the left is The Lafayette on Beach Avenue, designed by Stephen Decatur Button. The Marquis de Lafayette stands there today but is not the same structure. The Lafayette was demolished in the '70s :-(

“At the end of the day, I’m satisfied. I have enough of everything, work and love as well. I believe in music and in my own way I believe I’m fighting for peace every time I get to sing. I can’t imagine what I’d rather be doing right now.” - Gordon Vincent
