Last dinner at Herman's in Los Barilles, Baja with my daughter Kate. Leaned out from the restaurant with my phone, liked the neon lights contrasting with the sunset.

My first attempt at photographing an eclipse. I wasn't quite setup when the eclipse started - but enjoyed the experience while shooting away from 2 to 4:30AM.
A few lessons learned, or more for that matter. I had my 1.4x extender on my 2.8 70x200mm lens. Next time, I definitely want to have at least a 400mm lens. After the eclipse, I had to really push the ISO. I experimented with a variety of configurations. More to follow on that front - father duties call!

A surprise birthday trip to Las Gaviotas, Mexico, Baja California. The day before we paddled off this beach around a little island we called, The Rock. 10 miles - were whooped. Love this area.
