🗣The City of Carbondale is offering boxes full of fresh food from Cusumano & Sons, Inc. on Tuesday, July 15, starting at 8:30AM- until supplies run out.

City Manager Stan Reno says, “The City of Carbondale is proud to provide boxes filled with fresh food to our community this summer. This initiative is a reflection of our continued commitment to the well-being of our community and our belief that access to healthy, nutritious food should never be out of reach. We hope that by distributing boxes filled with fresh quality foods is one way we can help ease the burden for families during the summer months when needs often increase and resources can become strained. This opportunity embodies the spirit of compassion, connection, and care that defines Carbondale. I encourage all eligible residents to participate.”

Citizens wishing to receive a food box can drive through the West parking lot of City Hall during the event to pick up a food box for their household. We are also offering food box delivery for Carbondale citizens that live within city limits that are homebound. Delivery service is available exclusively for residents with mobility challenges who are unable to leave their homes. All food box delivery requests MUST be submitted no later than 12 PM on Friday, July 11. Deliveries will only be made to Carbondale addresses.
