RECIPE: Vanilla Cinnamon Latte
Here’s how to make it a 12oz hot version. (Comment if you want iced version)
1. Add 25g of homemade vanilla bean syrup to your cup.
2. Pull a double shot of espresso and pour it into your cup.
3. Mix the syrup and espresso together with a spoon or a little whisk.
4. Add three small dashes of cinnamon.
5. Steam 250 g of organic whole milk or whatever milk you like to 145°.
6. Pour the milk into the cup and if you need a little bit more vanilla or a little bit more cinnamon that’s fine too—just mix it in and make sure you give it a stir.
7. Enjoy.

Brew ratio is important because it standardizes your espresso brewing process. By weighing out your espresso in your portafilter and then aiming for double that amount of liquid espresso in your cup you can achieve a 1-to-2 brew ratio, which is an excellent starting point (or ending point if you like the flavor) for a great shot.
