The 2026 schedule is out! I'm looking forward to the season. And I'm really excited to fish the All American Classic in May with my buddy Jimmy Burgess, and I still have the Taney 20 to fish before my 2026 season officially starts. I have a bunch of great events to look forward to, and I still have a bunch of stuff in the works before the season starts. Made a last-second decision to get signed up for the Big Bass 250 Hosted by Eco Fishing Shop. Super glad that I did! I didn't have the best day on the water, but also wasn't the worst. I caught a whole lot of fish today, just not the right ones. After the tournament was concluded, I went to the awards and saw a lot of familiar faces and a lot of guys who came from all over the states, and someone even came all the way from Canada to fish. Absolutely mind-blowing. But I can definitely see why - the awards were an awesome experience, watching over $40,000 in prizes given out in raffles. And to the Big Bass Winner and the Top 3 Anglers of the event, I just want to say hell of a job, and congratulations!!

2025 Moyak Elite Series Missouri state championship: Beautiful place, the fish were definitely biting, I just never could get the right bites I needed. On Day 2 of fishing, I got one of the bites I was looking for, only to lose him right at the boat. But yeah, it was brutal. But I just kept my head on a swivel and continued to try to catch some quality fish. I didn’t finish this event where I wanted to, but I’m still happy with my performance and everything. I definitely learned a lot this weekend and got to catch up with some friends. Overall, it was a great weekend, and I’m gonna enjoy my little time off the water. I’ll see y’all at the Taney 20. 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Mark Twain Lake was a fun one, to say the least. I didn’t get a chance to practice fish. And my smart self didn’t plug in my graph correctly, so I just thought I grabbed a dead battery. But I just took it as a sign that I didn’t need my graph today and I was just gonna fish. But I started the morning off with a decent fish, the biggest of the day, and that made me feel good. It pretty much gave me false hope for the rest of the day. Lol. I continued to fish hard as always! I started to figure them out mid-day with the wacky rig, caught a couple little guys, but built my confidence big time, because by then I was approaching about 3 1/2 hours left. And I only had two fish at the time, and I was just telling myself I need a fish an hour, and then BOOM! Next thing I know, I just need one more fish for my limit and to cull. Ended up catching my limit on a chatterbait, my kicker fish of the day, I pulled my bait out of his mouth like a rookie. 🫠 But overall, I did well enough to finish decent enough to keep my spot for AOY, and now I qualify for a couple of championships 🤙🏽🤙🏽😎
