Unpopular Facts about the Liberia Music Union..‼️💔✊🔥

Seven years after Sammy Gray Gboguy Jr. was elected President of the Musicians Union of Liberia (MUL) in 2019, the Union remains in limbo.

Two years into his tenure, Gboguy left Liberia, handing affairs to Tony Kabateh. Kabateh also exited, leaving Milkman to steer the Union. Milkman conducted elections, but shockingly, the winners were never announced.

In a controversial twist, the Ministry of Information bypassed the process and imposed A.B. Swaray as President — a move many musicians still question as political interference.

Today, MUL is fractured, leaderless, and lacking credibility. Musicians are left without protection, royalties, or representation.

The Question remains unanswered, How did a union built for artists become a political chessboard?

This is a Ghanaian Team called Black Queens, defender Comfort Yeboah with a coach, and honestly, what is the sense in carrying a player like this? Does carrying her make her faster or improve her football? This is simply unnecessary and quite ridiculous in a professional football environment.

If this were a Liberian coach doing the same thing, I’m sure some people would suddenly bring out their big English and lectures on professionalism.

A coach is there to train, guide and develop players, not to turn football training into a comedy show. Some things simply make no sense.

We need to stop normalising things simply because a foreign coach is involved.

Liberian fast-rising female artist Tomah Baby recently got a brand new Iphone 17 Pro Max, and it’s causing buzz online.

The phone is so new and expensive it costs more than some studio sessions, yet Tomah is using it mostly for mirror selfies and "God did" captions.

The iphone’s Pro Max features like 4K camera, while her data will finish fast from downloading beats and that fans are split: some say “Queen deserves it,” others say “drop the album first.”
