Penny, a 4-year-old Doberman Pinscher, was crowned Best in Show at the **Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show** in **New York City**, standing out among more than 2,500 dogs representing 200 breeds on February 3, 2026. Her victory was guided by her handler, Andy Linton.

According to posts shared by her owners, Penny will now retire from the show ring and begin training as a certified therapy dog, embracing her love of cuddles and human connection after a remarkable career. “She enjoys meeting strangers and being petted, so I think she will truly love that,” her owner said.

Her legacy at Westminster 2026 will be remembered not only for the prestigious title, but also for her sweet and gentle nature.
