Here's the story of a group of parents who took action this summer amid recent uncertainty in funding for the Head Start preschool program, which receives federal dollars through the Department of Health and Human Services.

The Headstart Parent Committee- Carlsbad, NM hosted a series of events throughout the summer to provide fun and education to students and recently heard the preschool will be reopening this August.
