These two beautiful quilts by Tina Dillard at Quilting Affection Designs came from a place of pure creative freedom and it’s kind of amazing that both of them were made using just one Stack of 10" squares of our Fossil Finesse collection! Which quilt do you love the most?

To make the quilts, Tina also used the Wing Clipper tool by Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design as well as their Love Links and Twinkle patterns, and also the Heirloom 80/20 Bleached Cotton batting by Hobbs Quilt Batting.

Beautiful Gemstones quilt by Solomae Stoycoff at Cuddle Cat Quiltworks, made with our Under the Sea collection fabric ✨😍✨

To make the quilt, Solomae also used Heirloom Premium 80/20 batting by Hobbs Quilt Batting, matching 50 wt Aurifil thread, a size 12 Microtex Needle by SCHMETZneedles and the Large Square Squared tool by Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design.

Connie Kresin Campbell at Freemotion by the River enjoyed revisiting her favorite Disappearing 9 Patch block and turning it into a striking piece for her table!

To make the topper, Connie used the fabric from the Island Batik Earth Essence collection, matching Aurifil thread and batting by Hobbs Quilt Batting.

Beautiful collection of table runners, fabric boxes, and mug rugs made by Renee Atkinson of Pink Tulip Quilting for the final Island Batik challenge of the year, all unified by rich seasonal color and a warm, inviting mood.

To make the set, Renee used the luminous fabric from the Autumn Twilight collection designed for Raija Salomaa of Quilters Treasure Chest, batting by Hobbs Quilt Batting, AccuQuilt Fall Medley dies for the appliqués, Aurifil thread in blue tones, a vinyl needle by SCHMETZneedles, and an oliso Project Iron.

For the final project of 2025, our Greek Ambassador Mania of Mania for quilts opted for this stunning curtain made in the Korean bojagi technique. Measuring almost 4' by 5', this fantastic work is a result of a large summer-house project for a sunrise-facing window, a slow but deeply satisfying undertaking. Wow!

Carol Stanek made this beautiful quilt with the fabric from the Island Batik Flowing Meadow collection. The layout uses just two block types, yet the mix of colors and the curved illusion of the setting give it a layered look.

To make her final 2025 Ambassador quilt, Carol also used matching Aurifil thread, batting by Hobbs Quilt Batting, Microtex needles by SCHMETZneedles and oliso iron.

This month marks the final round for the 2025 Island Batik Ambassadors! For December, they are free to make anything they want with no set rules at all ✨

Chatterbox Quilts - Kim Jamieson-Hirst went all-in on joy with her bright retro pink tree, built from energetic strip-pieced blocks and topped with a glowing star. Soft swirls in the background and cool blue borders make the whole quilt feel so full of holiday charm ✨🎄

To make Bubblegum Christmas, Kim used Island Batik fabric, the Electric Quilt 8 software, Poly-Down batting by Hobbs Quilt Batting, matching Aurifil thread and her oliso iron.
